Each soft gelatin capsule contains:

Taurine 1000 mg

OTHER INGREDIENTS:

Gelatin, glycerin (422), edible oil, purified water, butylated hydroxy anisole (320), permitted food colours (133,171), emulsifying and stabilising agents (322,422).

Matador: Indications

Matador™supplementation is believed to be beneficial in various etiologies:

Matador: Dosage and Administration

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

One capsule 1-2 times daily or as prescribed by the physician.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Taurine is contraindicated in those hypersensitive to any component of a Taurine-containing nutritional supplement.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

Pregnant women and nursing mothers should avoid Taurine supplements unless recommended by their physicians. Those with congestive heart failure should only use Taurine under medical supervision.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

Lithium interacts with Taurine: Taurine might have an effect like a water pill or "diuretic." Taking taurine might decrease how well the body gets rid of lithium. This could increase how much lithium is in the body and result in serious side effects. Talk with your healthcare provider before using this product if you are taking lithium. Your lithium dose might need to be changed.

Matador: Use in special population

Pregnancy and Lactation:

There are no adequate and well controlled studies of this formulation in pregnancy. Should be used in pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the risk to the foetus. Caution should be exercised because it is not known whether any of the component of Matador™ is excreted in human breast milk.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:

Matador™is possibly safe for adults when taken by mouth in appropriate amounts. Taurine has been used safely in adults in studies lasting up to one year.

OVERDOSAGE:

In case of overdose, symptomatic and supportive treatment is indicated.

PRESENTATION:

10 soft gelatin capsules packed in a strip with monocarton and 10 such strips in one box.

STORAGE:

Store in cool, dry and dark place. Keep out of reach of children.
